Pet Pouchy started in a one-bedroom apartment, sketching a carrier we actually wanted to be seen with — and that our cat would actually sit in. Five years later we still design every piece around three rules: it has to be safe for the pet, beautiful for the home, and honest about how it's made.

Are Pet Pouchy carriers airline-approved?
Most of our soft-sided carriers fit in-cabin guidelines for major US airlines (typically up to 18 × 11 × 11 in.). Each carrier's exterior dimensions are listed on the product page so you can match them to your airline's pet policy before you fly. Still unsure? Ask our team and we'll confirm.
What pets are your products designed for?
Cats, small and medium dogs (up to about 22 lb), and small companion animals. Each product page lists weight ranges and recommended sizing. If your pet sits between sizes, our rule is: round up — comfort first.
Do you offer free US shipping?
Yes — free standard shipping on US orders of $69 or more. Orders under $69 ship for a flat $8.99. We ship to US addresses only and orders are hand-prepared at our boutique studio. Full details on our Shipping & Returns page.
What is your return policy?

Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States (50 states + APO/FPO). International shipping is on our roadmap — drop us a note if you'd like us to email you when we launch in your country.
Are your materials safe for pets?
Yes. We use OEKO-TEX certified fabrics, non-toxic dyes, and zippers/hardware that are tested to BSCI safety standards. Each product page lists the specific materials so you know exactly what's against your pet's fur.
Materials chosen for daily life with a pet — not a photo shoot
A boutique price tag should buy more than a colorway. Every Pet Pouchy product is built from a short list of materials we have personally lived with, washed, scratched, and re-tested. Here is what goes into the carriers, beds, and travel pieces you see across the shop — and why.
Carrier shells & straps
900D recycled polyester outer with a brushed cotton-blend inner liner. Mesh windows are double-stitched and reinforced with bar tacks at every stress point. YKK-equivalent zippers. Carrying straps are rated to twice the listed pet weight.
Bed cushions & covers
CertiPUR-US certified high-density memory foam, wrapped in a hypoallergenic poly-fill bolster. Covers zip off and machine-wash cold; foam holds shape after 50+ washes in our in-house wear tests.
Collars, leashes & small goods
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified webbing dyed with non-toxic, AZO-free pigments. Solid brass or anodized aluminum hardware, never zinc-plated. Each collar is pull-tested to 110 lb / 50 kg before it leaves the workshop.
Packaging & everything else
FSC-certified kraft mailers, recycled tissue, paper tape — no plastic poly-bags. Even the dust bag for our carriers doubles as a washable laundry bag. Small details, but they add up to roughly 1.4 lb of plastic saved per order.
Three numbers, and you'll never order the wrong size again
Most pet-product returns happen for the same reason: the carrier was too snug, or the bed was too generous. Before you check out, take 60 seconds to grab these three measurements — every Pet Pouchy product page lists them, so matching is almost foolproof.
1 · Length (nose to tail-base)
Measure your pet standing or lying flat from the tip of the nose to where the tail begins. This sets the bed length you should pick.
2 · Shoulder height
Floor to top of the shoulder (not the head). For carriers, add 2–3 in. of clearance so your pet can sit upright comfortably.
3 · Weight
Round up to the nearest pound. Each carrier and harness lists a maximum safe weight — never exceed it, even by a little.
